TRAINING IN MINDFULNESS FOR LAWYERS – SWEEPING ACROSS THE UNITED STATES – IS SOON GOING TO BE OFFERED IN SOUTH AFRICA
Training in mindfulness is becoming increasingly popular as many people struggle to find meaning and ways of being in an increasingly difficult world. Jenny is a lawyer by profession. She has recently been approached to start a mindfulness course for lawyers as part of a new initiative by the Centre for Integrative Law, testimony to how mindfulness can enhance any profession and every aspect of our lives.

Today I met with the beautiful Jenny Canau, of Mindfulness Africa, mother of three and a human-rights lawyer, law lecturer and activist. She is a mindfulness facilitator and practitioner with a special interest in parenting and children.
Jenny and I are setting up an 8 week Mindfulness for Lawyers course that looks like it will run in May and June 2013.
Places will be limited so if interested, ensure you enter your email address to receive the info on all CIL training elsewhere on this page.
Many US lawyers and lawfirms have been practising mindfulness for 20 years already…it’s time South Africa got on board. I, personally can’t wait for the training!
